Praia Do Rosa
Considered by the Wold Bays Institute, one of the 30 most beautiful bays of the world. Rosa's Beach is a landscape formed by cliffs, white sands, blue sea, perfect
waves and lagoons of salt water that serves as a refuge for those traveling with children.
Rosa’s beach is different each season. In the summer are the tourists who come in search of beaches, the excitement that goes day and night
moving by the excellent restaurants and bars.
Surf, StandUp e SandBoard are great in any time of the year. But in winter time the waves are highest and the most well-formed.
Rosa’s beach frequently hosts events like the StandUp Conquest; a Adventure Races and Polo Championship.
In July the chilly sea receive the visit of the illustrious Right Whales.
They can be seen until November. By this time the whales take over the territory, breeding and feeding their babies.
The access to some beaches adjacent to Rosa’s beach can be done through
trails of light level horseback riding. The best known are:
Ferrugem and Silveira, going toward north, to Garopaba, and toward south is where the fans of Wind and Kitesurf
can be happy. Ibiraquera Lagoon has the best wind of the area, with transparent water, and the perfect wind conditions, this place is perfect for the sport.
The movement is great during summer time, when bars and nightclubs are open, some of them are: Mar del Rosa, Pico da Tribo and the charming and eclectic Beleza Pura.
Mother and baby enjoy the warm waters to play.
From June to November the Right Whales are in Rosa’s beach to breed and breastfeed their babies.
The whales can be seen from the hills or by boat trips.
Restaurants
Tastes of diverse cuisines of the world are found at Rosa’s beach.
One feature, however, is common in all the menus, the seafood, as we can see in this photo of a dish at Urucum’s Restaurant.
The restaurants have a cuisine with exotic touches and unique recipes that make all the difference. They can be found by the
General Rosa’s Road and by the King’s way. Among the varied cuisine, we can highlight Urucum restaurant (a partner of Villa
Buena Vista) with its marvelous Brazilian food, Tigre Asiático, with its oriental food and Lua Marinha restaurant with its
exotic cuisine.
Surf
The north side when the northeast wind comes and the south side when the south wind enters in
Rosa’s Bay are one of the best breaks of Santa Catarina for surfing. Around Rosa’s beach you also can find good waves,
in Vila’s beach, Ferrugem’s beach and Silveira’s beach. The higher formations happen during winter time, when the use of
wetsuits (neoprene) are indispensable in the chilly waters.
Kitesurf
Barra da Ibiraquera is the greatest place for those who practice kitesurf and windsurf. The wind and good waves provide one of the best treaks of Brazil.
It also has a beautiful lagoon for beginners to learn before take risk in higher flights.
Horseback Riding
Another leisure entertainment sought by visitors from Rosa’s beach is the ride on horseback through the trails and beaches of the region. Horseback riding with short or longer expeditions, which pass by very old ways. Contryside tours around the Enchanted Mountain or Ressacada Mountain are excellent leisure options!

Tracking
In the north side of Rosa’s Beach begins the trail to Vermelha’s Beach, which is well preserved and quiet. You can also reach Ferrugem’s beach by this trail.
In the south side of Rosa’s beach you find the trail to Luz’s beach and Barra de Ibiraquera.
SandBoard
The sand mountains of Siriú are more than 30 feet high and are the delight to the people that enjoy a sport plenty of adrenaline and little risk.
Adventure Race
In 2010 happened in Rosa’s beach the Mountain Do. An event of adventure race that has already scheduled for August 2011 the next stage. For more information:Mountain Do.
